The bonus is you get to do it with your BIG boys! I can remember when they were knee-high to a grasshopper. I have a similar project for our desert back yard. Nothing there except dead grass, sandy loam soil and yucca. The rabbits come out every morning and evening to eat the dry grass. Its a true Tabla Rasa (not for the rabbits. For me). It's going to be a many many months project. First drip lines then soil amendment and fencing. Oh la la. I hope I'm up to it. I keep thinking "I'm 70!" I hope to read some blogs about rehabbing landscape some day.
