Inspiring women right up my alley

Right at the moment, I'm not only busy with baby chicks, impending baby goats, starting garden seedlings, and running my online courses, but also with something really, really fun:

I'm looking at people's websites to get inspired about making an awesome website for Marblemount Homestead.  This research is incredibly inspiring, but also a little bit intimidating.  There are so many options out there!

When I found the website for Chestnut School of Herbal Medicine, I stopped dead in my tracks.  It's so gorgeous, I might have even drooled a little!

Fortunate circumstances made it possible for me to talk with the founder of this school first on the computer, and then on the phone.  What an incredible woman!  Not only does she have a huge heart, but she's also an herbal medicine wizard.  I totally fell in love with her and her mission.

When I found out that she offers a free herbal minicourse, I immediately signed up, and since I like high quality content that is good for the earth and inspires me, I want to pass it on to you.

Why free? What’s the catch?

I know that’s what I would be asking myself…

Here’s the real deal: Our friends at the Chestnut School of Herbal Medicine are excited about spreading the good word—of plants, that is! We've both seen first-hand how this knowledge is a game changer. It’s boldly empowering to know how to go out your back door and find the medicine you need. And there’s a deep satisfaction in knowing how to pick vibrant wild edibles for your family’s nourishment. You’ll learn about connecting with your own sustenance and the living world around you—that’s priceless, and we’re honored to share this with you!

The free course is an introduction to the fields of foraging, botany and medicine making. You can use the course as a jumping off point to the wide world of herbal resources—there are links to free web resources, including articles and videos. You'll have access to their favorite books and teachers for each subject covered. And you’ll connect with thousands of herbalists and foragers from across the globe!

This free course will also give you the opportunity to tour Chestnut School's online videos and lessons for yourself in a 100% obligation-free setting. If you love the free course, there’s a good chance you’ll enjoy their other online programs. After all, when you pay for something, it’s nice to know what you’re getting up front. This is an opportunity to check them out, get a feel for their teaching style, and share in the herbal excitement they’ve been brewing up for the past two years. We hope you enjoy it!

  2. I'm going to try it, too because when we move I will have boo-coo bandwidth for my downloads. We will have cable. I want to make home made salves and ointments. BTW Corina, please save some goat milk soap for me. I have it on my calendar that the soap will be cured in about a week. I can't remember how much you charge but I think I want 4 bars.

    1. Oh good, I'm glad you will have better internet where you will move to. I'm jealous! I'm still on my limited satellite bandwidth... I am saving soap for you for sure! I'll let you know when it's done and send some pictures so you can chose!
